Of the very first verses that were revealed to our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him)‎ in Surah Muddaththir (74:1 -3) are:

O You (Muhammad Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) enveloped (in garments)!

Arise and warn!

And Your Lord (Allah) magnify!

Our Prophet (peace be upon him) was told to “Arise and Warn” which means to stand up and begin spreading the message of Islam.

Dawah Through Actions is a project that aims to bring Muslim volunteers from across Canada to help spread the message through our actions. Actions which can include helping out the local community with various projects, such as city clean ups, Big brother Big sister programs, feeding the homeless, marketing events for the community, and overall making an impact on the city by helping non-Muslim and Muslim organizations.

The focus is to spread Dawah through our actions by showing the community that we, as Muslims, also care about the community regardless of ethnic, religious, or cultural differences. By bringing together the volunteers and participating in the positive efforts of the locality, Dawah Through Actions aims to create an environment conducive to Dawah and our reputation as Muslims as part of the society.
